RIP.

I couldn't sleep, even if I wanted to.

We've dealt with death a lot, but this one hit the closest to home.

Just two days a go I texted John and said "I'm getting a tat before the end of the semester"
and he replied "I don't believe you"

The ironic thing now, is that I'm designing one In memory of him.

He's the one who introduced me to Serendipity.
To reiterate: "The greeks didn't write obituaries. When a man died, they asked only one question: did he have passion?"
That's a word that I think describes John well. Passionate.

I love you, John, it's going to be the most hard on our birthday every year.  I loved sharing January 2 with you.

RIP John Emanuel Dybdall

PS! OMG! Someone I hardly know from campus, heard my situation about trying to get money to fly home... and she put $40 in my school mailbox.

I told her suitmate (who I know pretty well) and she told me that the girl is really tight on money right now... and she still gave me $40!!?? What a selfless act of Christ's love.
