Declaration of Incompetence.

Grr... My keys, school ID, and credit cards have been stolen. It's so frustrating, I don't have anyway of getting money and you cant eat meals or get into any  buildings on campus without an ID. Ahhhh. I hate it. We checked and there isn't any foul play on my accounts, which means someone picked it up, and is not abusing my cards. WHY DON'T YOU TURN IT IN THEN!

I'm going on a Date Night with my floor tomorrow night.  I didn't get a "real date" per-say but I'm taking my best guy friend from here, Ryan, and I think we'll have a good time (No, I don't have any feelings for him at all).  We're going iceskating in downtown LA which I think might ease my homesickness. 

Have I mentioned how excited I am to head back to the midwest? Sucks that I don't have any shoes other than flip flops right now. My toes is gonna be froze. :-) But it's well worth it, that's for sure.

So I met my first perv on campus this week. Met? No. He's been in my class all semester, but we had a few conversations outside of class this week for the first time. Gosh. I swear I'll never escape the ever-so-prevalent degrading and disrespectful guy.  I knew within the first 5 minutes that he was not going to be one I wanted to entangle myself with.  I am going to a private christian university hoping to escape most of the outwardly perverted people in our society.  I'm not naive in believing coming here would only be well-respectable men with a pure heart. However, I did not expect to encounter someone who willingly told me in the first ten minutes of talking "Yeah, I'm not the purest of guys you'll know, I just don't bring that side of me to BIOLA... so do you wanna hook up sometime?"  Are you kidding me?  Like I said, I knew there would still be people that would try and get me to give into temptation, but I never dreamed they would be so verbal and pushy about the subject comfortably.

We will not be talking anymore.

Here are some distinct differences from this boy, we'll call him Fred, and Mat, the one I'm going on a date next Saturday with in Chicago.

Fred: You have a really nice body

Mat: I cannot wait to see your beautiful face

Fred: What bra size are you?

Mat: I have never met anyone like you.  You are better than the ordinary miss and there's no one here that compares to you.

Fred: Common, I mean we could just have fun for 15 min. without my girlfriend knowing

Mat: I cannot wait to take you downtown and take you out for the evening. If boys aren't treating you good out there, I will have to come and beat them down.  I miss you and cannot wait to see you.

I cannot wait to spend the evening with Mat because I know he'll respect me and truly make my evening something special.  I swear the next disrespectful boy I meet is going to get a face full of my fist!
